Grey beard, long ears & cocker stare.

Meet Bailey II, a 10 year old black American Cocker Spaniel (who reminds me very much of my own black spaniel). It’s amazing the resemblance – with Bailey’s grey chin, serious stare, sad yet intense eyes. And yes, those long years, even longer pink tongue, and a personality that always wants to please their owners.

How did Bailey II get her name? Well, before Bailey II came into the picture, her mom had a Cocker Spaniel that was the same colour as a Bailey’s drink. Even thought Bailey II isn’t the colour of a Bailey’s drink, she till suits the name!

These days, this 10 year old deals with seizures that come and go. Recently she had a bit of a stroke. She doesn’t feel like going for walks much these days, but prefers to laze around the house and enjoy “retirement”.

Some fun facts about Bailey II? Well, when she gets a new toy, if she doesn’t like it, she’ll chew it up. And recently she’s decided that she doesn’t like her groomer.
