Red, white & green, trees & all the trimmings…

This past year I’ve been doing a handful of these stylized shoots. Not only do they give me fun new images for my website and social media…they allow my creative brain to work in a comfortable, stress-free environment where there are zero expectations except to have fun!

What is a Stylized Shoot? ~ It’s when a variety of wedding vendors come together with the products that they offer to local brides – florists, prop rentals, dress stores, cake makers, etc – and create a wonderland of dreamy settings for photographers to pose our models in.

For this shoot, the session was all things related to the holiday season. With groupings of Christmas trees, garland, gold and red accepts, glowing candles and snowflake cut cookies (which were delicious by the way!), festive boozy drinks, velvet groom jackets, plenty of snow on the ground, ornaments, Christmas lights…the creativity was out of this world!

This location is quite unique and private. It’s a smaller venue that would be perfect for an elopement or smaller gathering of friends & family, but it has the most spectacular view of the Glenmore Reservoire. With a wood burning stove, hardwood floors, and an extra large deck with seating and patio lights…it’s a perfect indoor-outdoor setting that encourages dancing and mingling, well into the evening hours.

As we head into the final week before Christmas, I hope these images put you in the “Holiday Spirit”! Although this Christmas will definitely be different than most years (due to Covid), it doesn’t diminish what Christmas is all about! May you eat lots of turkey, have plenty of laughs and create new memories amongst your family. See you in the New Year!!
